Expert Materials Engineering
Your tasks:
Materials engineering support for development projects and production plants
Commissioning and interpretation of materials examination reports from external laboratories
Creation and presentation of material reports in English language
Creation and updating of material specifications in English language
Optimization and further development of coating processes, e.g. NiP and Al2O3
Support of IMDS (International Material Data System)
Further tasks in the field of materials technology
Your profile:
Completed studies (Master, PhD) in materials engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable field of study
Very good knowledge in the field of materials technology
Experience with steel (for high temperature), heat treatment (nitriding, hardening), aluminum, hardness measurement, evaluation of light and scanning electron microscopic images, EDS or coatings (NiP, Al2O3)
Relevant work experience desirable
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, knowledge of German language desirable
Structured, result-oriented and independent way of working
Ability to communicate and work in a team
Willingness to work within international project teams and to support other BMTS locations
