Design Engineer core assembly (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Construction of mechanical turbocharger components in high-temperature use for turbocharged comercial vehicles
  • Collaboration in simultaneous engineering teams with manufacturing, suppliers and purchasing
  • Design and basic dimensioning of components (analytical and/or FEM)
  • Collaboration in platform projects for the development of new platforms for series production
  • Creation of variants and concepts as well as systematic evaluation and elaboration up to serial production
  • Development of design guidelines as well as of process and test regulations
  • New and further development of the individual components taking into account specifications, standards and customer requirements
  • Development of rationality measures to reduce costs
  • Conducting competitive analyzes
  • Realization of customer-specific adaptation designs as well as support for customer projects

Your profile:

  • Education: successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering or vehicle construction (university, FH)
  • Experience: professional experience in product development in the automotive sector desirable
  • Know How: in-depth knowledge of the design methodology for castings and turned parts, very good CAD and PDM knowledge,  preferably ProE and Windchill. Experience in the field of design-related FEM, engineering mechanics and turbomachinery
  • Personality: thinking analytically, acting confident, assertive and capable of teamwork and communication
  • Languages: good spoken and written German and English skills
