Launch coordinator

Your tasks:

  • First point of contact for projects from the C-sample phase to series production including the EOP process (aftermarket, OES, IAM)
  • Project responsibility on time, on spec, on money (own production costs) from D sample
  • Carrying out internal process and service approvals (IPA, ILA, etc.)
  • Organizing customer visits (customer projects)
  • Support of the PL STR at change measures and changes at the customer's request
  • Monitoring and ensuring the project milestones (on time)
  • Coordination of change presentation sheets in the SE team and for PCO measures
  • Coordinating and ensuring the implementation of internal change measures
  • Participation in the implementation of PCO topics
  • Reporting for projects (internal / external)
  • Coordinating the first production test runs in preparation for the customer visit
  • Preparing and supporting customer and internal audits
  • Crisis management / customer care in a bottleneck
  • Customer care in the plant (in lead is sales STR)
  • Direct contact person according to the key account for the customer from the D sample phase
  • Support / management of the industrialization of the project on the series system at the respective responsible location (work instructions / preparation technical consumables / preparation of run in parts)
  • Timely reporting of capacity bottlenecks to MT Global (due to the long-term order situation) - Support MT Global with module occupancy planning
  • Participation in the annual requalification audits for customers
  • Carrying out the final acceptance of an industrialization project (IPA / ILA) and the internal MAE handover
  • Change management for the projects

Your profile:

  • Mechanical-Electric, Industrial, Mechatronics engineer o related.
  • MBA in production, quality or administration is a Plus.
  • Business English Speaking
  • Automotive industry experience for 3 ys with GM & Ford costumers.
  • SAP Knowledge for productive modules
  • Knowledge of the vehicle industry
  • Fundamentals of system knowledge, engine, combustion process and supercharging, QM-Methods Basics in the automobile industry (AIAG Core Tools: FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, VDA)
  • Basics of the relevant standards in the automotive industry (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA) 
  • Basic knowledge of the spec. Customer requirements in the automotive industry in their own customer area of responsibility (VW - Formula Q-Concrete, GM Customer Specific Requirements, requirements of the BMW Group ...)
